About Us

When I was growing up, I lived in a community that nurtured and spent a lot of their time giving back to the community. One of my 2nd mothers was a hairstylist. I would watch her groom the ladies hair and beautify their faces. The seed was planted early. At the young age of 8, I became obsessed with taking care of my skin and body. This lasted through high school until the present. It's never too late to start taking care of your skin. 

I pride myself in using as many natural anti aging products as I could find. My daughter Imani inspired me when she was in high school to start selling natural soap. From there, many other products were added. With the help of my daughter, Imani, we founded Butters & Bars. All of my products are 100% natural and will help give your skin that glow, diminish those wrinkles and blemishes, moisturizes, and give you that healthy skin you desire!
